Denver to BYU

Everybody is leaving everyone. No one is staying put. It’s like love. Only worse.

BYU fires an elite coach. Brings in two elite middies from Denver

Provo, UT (August 3, 2009) – Jared and Jacob Houghton, both members of the 2007 NCAA Division 1 men’s lacrosse team and on athletic/academic scholarships at Denver University announced they will be transferring to BYU and will join the men’s lacrosse team for the 2009-2010 season. The twin brothers recently returned from two-year LDS church missions to Argentina.

It must be exciting to go from middle of the road D1 to national championship contender. I wonder why they didn’t start out at BYU right away.

Other BYU news: Early reports show that as many as 75+ student-athletes are expected to try out for the team the first week of school, which begins August 31st.

Must be a nice problem to have.
